Esnativa offered a great experience over 6 days around Cerro Catedral and the Frey hut. Their team had great vibes, was very knowledgeable of the area, and included the clients in decision making. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a fun and unique ski adventure.

…Despite our last minute changes due to weather on some days we still were able to have an amazing time at frey hut. I felt very supported and encouraged the entire time and would highly recommend them.

Day 1 – Arrival and Bariloche Welcome

Arrive in San Carlos de Bariloche and check in at your hotel (we can coordinate your airport transfer as an add-on). Gear check and welcome briefing with your guides, then dinner together in town to kick off the week (not included).

Day 2 – Cerro Catedral: First Turns

First day on the mountain. We ride Catedral's lifts to get a feel for the snow conditions, warm up on the resort's best groomers and open faces, and start scouting the sidecountry exits that will define the days ahead.

Day 3 – Cerro Catedral: Sidecountry

We push beyond the resort boundary — dropping into Catedral's off-piste terrain, steep couloirs, and windloaded faces. Full day in the sidecountry with guide-led route selection based on conditions.

Day 4 – Approach to Refugio Frey

We take the Nubes lift at the top of Cerro Catedral, gaining elevation through the Andes above Bariloche. The approach rewards with sweeping views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and the granite spires surrounding Frey. Arrive at the refugio, settle in, and earn your dinner.

Day 5 – Full Day at Frey

A full day exploring the backcountry terrain surrounding Refugio Frey — touring to high ridgelines, dropping untouched couloirs, and skiing back to the hut. Route selection depends on snowpack and conditions.

Day 6 – Full Day at Frey

Another day in the zone. With the lay of the land dialed from yesterday, we push deeper — longer tours, bigger lines, and the kind of skiing that's hard to find anywhere else in Patagonia.

Day 7 – Ski Out & Last Night in Bariloche

Morning ski-out back toward Bariloche. Depending on conditions, we pick up extra lines on the descent. Afternoon arrival in town, gear drop, and a last group dinner in town to close the trip (not included).

Day 8 – Bye bye Patagonia!

Departure from Bariloche Airport (BRC). We can coordinate your airport transfer as an add-on. Until next season.
